Hodge Podge

I am now the proud owner of a 1966 Schwinn Deluxe Hollywood bicycle. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures because I neither had my camera with me, nor is it finished. But it's sooo pretty guys. It's red and has all original paint, which means the Schwinn signs are still painted all over it. And the tires have fenders, and it still has the original seat. The handle bars are awesome and it's all curvy. Pictures will be released when taken.

100!

POST 100!!! Or so my dashboard says, but it can sometimes be a crap mess, so I could totally be off here. If it's not, LET'S JUST PRETEND!
I'm in a mood today, so I will probably ramble and I dunno if I even have any pictures for you.
Firstly: The Fray. My current song. "You got some kind of nerve, taking all I want." Sooo good. Sooo powerful Yuep.
Also, I went antiquing and rummaging today! It was a very good time. I found a new antique store that I absolutely LOVE, I didn't buy anything from there but I saw a lot of things I love and would like to get later. There were vintage gloves from the 1800's that fit me perfectly! I adored them. There was an antique silver and gold cameo necklace. I adored that too. And a turquoise and ruby ring that was cool too. A gorgeous painting of Mark Twain. Vintage movie studio lights! They were so awesome! A dresser that was made in Italy and, no lie, the drawers were in the shape of bubbles. It was so cool. And foreign. And vintage. There were multiple other things that were completely awesome. I will definitely be going back there when I have loads of cash.

Then at a resale shop I got an awesome amount of cheap books! Sit down for what I am about to tell you. (I don't know why you would be standing anyway, if at the computer?) I bought Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for 25 cents! FREAKING JACKPOT! I also got The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Wedding, and the Complete Collection of Sherlock Holmes (which is no lie, the Sherlock Holmes bible) all together for under five bucks! It was insanely wicked. And then I came home to see that my mother had bought me my favorite Harry Potter book! Guess, anyone?!? THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX. Definitely a day for book prizes. Totally ecstatic.
My mother also bought the DVD version of The Prince of Egypt. Ecstatic for that too. Did you know Ralph Fiennes plays Rameses from that movie and also Voldemort?
I also just read something that said "I hate how Percy Weasley, who followed the rules, did as he was told, respected his elders and worked hard in school, was seen as the "bad guy."" I wish I knew a way to know who wrote that. I have so many points to disagree with them. He was seen as the "bad guy" or at least, the least liked of the Weasleys by Harry, because he was a stingy workaholic that snapped orders and yelled insults at his whole family twenty-four seven. He was disliked because of his personality, not because he listened to people that were above him or because he followed rules. If he teased his brothers back rather than insult them when, for say, the twins picked on him because he wouldn't get on a broomstick, then people would've liked him a lot more. Percy has no humor about him, and if he does, it's not shown. Secondly, he didn't respect his elders, and the proof is all the ridiculous things he said to his parents in, I believe, the 5th book. He called Mr. Weasley lazy and insane, and he shut the door in Mrs. Weasley's face. Sure, he respected most elders. You know. The ones at the Ministry and the ones that thought Dumbledore was despicable. And just because he worked hard in school doesn't mean everyone sees him as the "bad guy." Hermione worked very hard in school. She's brilliant. Everyone seems to love her even still. Come to think of it, there wasn't a Hogwarts student that DIDN'T work hard. And my last point, sometimes "doing as your told" and "following the rules" is exactly what makes you wrong.

I also want to re-read The Children of Hurin, by J.R.R. Tolkien. I remember it being so good, but the last time I read it was like ten. I'm not exaggerating. Lauren and I have always been educated in our reading from a young age. At eleven she was reading C.S. Lewis and I was reading J.R.R. Tolkien.
P.S., I'm wearing basketball shorts and they're soooo comfy.

Cloud Drunkenness

I took this picture today when we walked to Sucker Crick. As you may have been able to piece together, I love clouds. My friends tease me and pretend like they're all exasperated because I always say "I love clouds." Sometimes over and over. Today was one of those days.
Well I was thinking, why do I love clouds so much? Because they're always the same, but they always change. They're magical; they seem so unreal but they're entirely real. Now I best not be getting any "They're just water in the air all formed into a mass blah blah blah" in the comment section, because you will be responded with "You are an idiot." Because that is completely besides the point. I do believe that God made artists so when they die he can have someone to paint clouds. Sketchers draw the cloud, painters choose the colors, and God plasters them into the sky and makes the sun shine through them to release their beauty even more.
I decided a long time ago I'm going to have at least one tattoo sleeve, and I fully decided today that the shoulder cap for a sleeve will be clouds. The ones like the clouds above will be on top of my shoulder and cap, and the ones that are at the bottom of the photo will be wrapped around the top of my arm, near my armpit. Then there's this cloud I took a photo of today that will be on my inner top arm, and it's going to look as if painted onto my arm. It's going to be so wicked. People always say tattoo something on yourself that you could look at forever and that you'd never get sick of. I could never get tired of clouds. They're just that something for me.

Confundo

This is not my cat. This is Michelle's (the chick I did senior pictures for) big kitty. I'm here to tell you I'm on a roll guys! Wedding pictures done, Michelle's senior pictures done, now I'm onto editing Lauren's!
I've gotten a lot accomplished this weekend.
I also realized how very behind I am on summer pictures. Still haven't went through the fourth of July fireworks, concert, and creative pictures. And I just took 600 some pictures of a Native American Pow-wow that I just got back from so I have those to add to the pile. And I have yet to upload the fair photos. I'm behind, but I'm getting there. Once everyone has the pictures they're supposed to have, I'm sure I'll get caught up sometime.

I also recently watched The Half Blood Prince again. (Meaning last night at 2 in the morning.) Andddd I have to say when Harry used the Sectumsempra (totally just spelled that without Google's help) curse on Draco, I could've put my hand through the screen and ripped Harry's head off. Don't get me wrong. I love Harry. Harry's that one hero that walks through hell and somehow manages to still be able to smile at the end, which I know I could never be able to do. I totally respect Harry. He's a great person and deserved more than he bargained for. I mean, he was the Chosen One, and he could've turned around and left everyone standing with their heads swiveling, but he decided to step up. That's big. He wasn't the Chosen One because Voldy chose him, he was the Chosen One because he decided to be. BUT.
Draco is that pariah that somehow, in some big or small way, everyone can relate to. What would the light be without the dark, right? What's the story without the villain, correct? Not that he is the villain... You catch my drift. Anyway, I just see it like, HARRY YOU JUST CAUGHT YOUR ARCH NEMESIS IN A FREAKING BATHROOM SOBBING BECAUSE VOLDEMORT'S GOING TO KILL THE ONLY THING HE'S EVER LOVED. AND YOU DECIDE TO ACCUSE HIM ABOUT SOMETHING YOU'RE NOT EVEN SURE ABOUT, AND SHOOT SPELLS AT HIM AT HIS MOST VULNERABLE TIME? Kick him while he's down, I guess, huh? Retarded. I mean, I guess I just saw great and immense opportunity in that moment. Harry had two options. Draco had two options. Do what they did and try to push each other down like a pack of blood thirsty ravaging wolves. Or. Right then and there they could have made their peace, and a whole lot of people wouldn't be dead, and they wouldn't have to learn things the hard way. Even seeing this as clearly as I do now, I honestly have no idea what I would do given their situation. I just know that Harry was stupid. They were both stupid. "Blinded by your hate," as Lupin would say.
And it's not even just Harry. If Draco would've decided to not shoot the first spell out of his wand, the main fight could've even maybe gotten avoided. Stupid.
And then Harry did the Sectumsempra curse and Draco could've really died, and even though they were arch enemies, Harry never would've been able to forgive himself if that would've happened. If Snape hadn't been there. There's just so many if's in that whole scene/chapter.
Sorry for that ramble. Had to put my confused thoughts into words to organize myself.
Anyway, J.K. Rowling is a pretty weird person with a divine view on life.
And picture of the bride? Sure.

And oh my gosh guys. The Pow-wow was incredible. First off, the itty bitty adorable kids were ADORABLE. Everyone's costumes were absolutely amazing. Their jewelry was to die for. The food was soooo good. The music was so awesome, with their drums and their voices. Like I said, I got a lot out of it. And there was this artist that had her own vendor and her stuff was so unique that it was truly inspiring. I'm a bit Native American, actually. I'll have to explain that someday.
But I was deeply inspired by this Pow-wow. As soon as I got home I drew this Indian-inspired girl, dancing. I like it. I also think I'm going to start making jewelry. I always say that. But I really do want to start sometime. I really want to make myself a dreamcatcher necklace. Fill you in on that later!
It is 12 32 at night (or morning, whichever) and I usually don't get to bed until at least 2. So I think I'm gonna do a bit more picture editing, and then I might read the rest of the Deathly Hallows. 'Night.

Love Is Not Just Another Word

I'm onto Michelle's senior pictures. I love the way they're turning out.
I just stopped by (again) to say that I found a new AWESOME band! They're called Abandon. Which automatically makes them sound cool.
Abandon - Feel It In Your Heart
This one's my favorite! It's an official music video too, and it's pretty rad. I'm listening to it right now. My other favorite songs from them is Providence, Hero, S.O.S., Confession, and If I Could Write a Song. Hold On is good too! They're really good, guys. They're one of those bands that have their own sound. I can honestly say I've never heard anything like this. Similar, but there's just something different. It's amazing. I encourage you to look them up!

By Your Side

I miss him.
I miss this boy a whole freaking lot.
He went on a "manly" man camping trip. Needless to say, it's not that manly because I've camped at the place that they're camping at. Which automatically means it's not manly, and since contaminated by a girl. Justsayin'. Anyway, he went on a "manly" camping trip with all these dudes Friday morning. I have not talked to him since Thursday night. He won't be back till Monday, and when Monday I do not know. His phone died. This is the reason I am totally and completely drowning myself in work. Last night (or early morning, whatever) I finished the official wedding pictures I did for my uncle and newly aunt. I'd been working on them for close to two weeks, so I'm glad to finally be over with them. I think I'll drop them off at their house tomorrow. Wednesday I did Lauren's senior pictures. Thursday I did this girl named Michelle's senior pictures. This coming up Wednesday I'm doing the rest of Lauren's. Sometime this month I'm doing baby pictures for Bailey and her older brothers Mason and Corbin. And I'm also doing pictures for Isaac and Micah. So I'm going to try to get Michelle's done editing as soon as possible so I can just roll on.
You guys would not believe how long this system takes.
My energy producers in this haul have been Mountain Dew and Hershey's chocolate bars, along with a good dose of Skillet music. But I opened the fridge this morning to find that there aren't anymore chocolate bars. So Imma little screwed.
Pray picnik doesn't fail on me.
I also found the best blog ever: advancedstyle.blogspot.com . I'm serious guys. This is like, the best blog ever. It's soooooooo cute.
I've got to run. Clean the house real quick and go back to my secluded corner to finally finish all my projects. Maybe then I'll get cash? And I won't be broke? Dunno.

Little Kids

My little second cousin, Isaac. I never thought he was that cute when he was a baby, but now he's so cute he could be a model. He looks just like his mother.

Little Chloe, the gallery owner's kid.

Christopher, Nicholas, Rebekah, and Tanner.

Tanner, Mason, and Rebekah.

Corbin, my favorite little kid ever. Mason's younger brother.

Peyton, we call him PeyPey. Corbin and Mason's first cousin.

Corbin's a little redhead.
I miss my little Corbin. He thinks I'm his girlfriend. I haven't seen him in such a long time. Or so it feels. Peyton is hilarious. His voice is so incredibly high. We call Peyton Phineas, and Corbin Ferb, because they're stuck together like glue and Corbin barely talks but Peyton never stops. They could also be the Weasley twins, because they get into all kinds of mischief together. Corbin's older brother Mason is such an adorable kid, I believe when he's older he'll be a chick magnet. Although I think that about PeyPey and Corby too. Mason has white hair and white eyebrows and white eyelashes. In the summer he's always so tan that he's almost black and he's the most sensitive little boy I've ever met. His laugh is contagious and he's always quite polite. My cousin Tanner has been around teenagers his whole life, so basically he always acts like one. He can be quite the brat and extremely sarcastic, but I've also seen him do incredibly sweet things. Especially for his mom. Rebekah. Well. My little sister. She always rides ALL the rides at the fair, even the ones that are incredibly terrifying. I don't even ride the ferris wheel. Chris and Nick are brothers. Nick is older by two years, and spitting image of his mother. He's extremely intelligent and he has an incredible memory. Once he told me exactly how to get to the nearest city, from every stop sign to the last curve in the road. Chris is the exact opposite of his older brother. Firstly, his hair is bright blonde and he has blue eyes, while Nick is a brunette with brown eyes. Chris is chunkier, and shorter, and he looks just the same as his dad. He's sensitive and he loves Taylor Swift so much that he has a little picture of her on his wall and whenever you mention her name he goes scarlet. He has little dimples and has a habit of kicking the seat in front of him when he's in a car. Chloe is one of my new favorite little kids. She's so extremely adorable, and at my uncle's wedding I talked to her once, and ever since whenever she sees me she has to talk to me. Which I don't mind because she has the cutest dimples ever and is just so extremely beautiful. She'll be a guy catcher when she's older. She's five, I do believe, and much smarter than her seven year old brother. In that picture of her, she had tied streamers to her wrists and was dancing around with them. I danced with her. Isaac is such, SUCH a beautiful kid. His mom just had a new baby, so he has a new baby brother named Micah David. I actually have the privilege to take their official photos soon. Isaac doesn't say much, but he is not, by far, stupid at all. He's extremely smart, and although I'm not around him much, I've noticed that he tends to notice little things. He's super tall and long for his age. Would you believe that he's three?
These little kids mean so much to this world. They'll all grow up to have bigger personalities than they do now (which is hard to believe, but true) and turn into their own people. They'll make a difference. They'll care about people. They'll get hurt. They'll learn. And in the end, they'll be happy. But it'll take a lot to make them so. They're a new generation. They're what I see when I think of the Weasley's, if that makes sense. They're going to make a difference.

Empires

Double rainbow after the rain today.
I've decided it would be really, really cool to be an official photographer for National Geographic. I mean, go to their website and tell me their photos aren't stupendously awesome. I would get to go everywhere. I think it would be so much fun.

We All Forget to Sleep. And Crash At Someone's Feet.

Rowboat.

I really love the way these pictures turned out. The colors are beautiful and after I edited them I loved them even more. Lauren and cousin Casie.

Oh, You Capture My Attention

So I feel like a deserter. But I'm going to make this up to you guys. By posting just plain awesome things. I'll tell you if I photographed them, although I don't think there's any in this batch I did myself.

Don't know what this is from. But sound nice to my ears, and look nice to my eyes.

It's creepy things like this -

And this that. Idon'tknow. I guess gives me inspiration and are just...cool.

This was one of the movies of the year for me. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, this X-men, Despicable Me. A bunch more, but these were the movies that popped first into my head.

Haha I don't know why I put this. I guess it just makes my imagination whirl.

This would be an awesome tattoo.

This means sooooooo much. It's so true. You don't have to be Harry Potter to be the chosen one.

Draco Malfoy is such an important character. Books one and two and a little bit of three, he was a spoiled brat who thought his parents were right about everything, including Voldemort. Three, four, and five he thought HE was right about everything, and he thought Voldemort knew the right way to fly. Six he was shaky. He was beginning to realize that maybe he was wrong, maybe Voldemort was terrible, and maybe things were going all wrong. Seven he knew he was screwed, hoped Voldemort wasn't going to win, and even though he didn't want to admit it, he hoped that Harry Potter would save them all. He's a deep and real character. He never really had amazing friends. His family's what he cares about. He was basically the opposite of Harry and had to find things out the hard way.

Two of my favorite characters. Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy. Only one missing is Luna Lovegood!
Tattoos inspire me.
Songs I've been listening to?
LIGHTS - Toes , I want the new LIGHTS CD so bad. It's called Siberia. *HINT LAUREN HINT Birthday present?*
LIGHTS - Everybody Breaks A Glass - I already posted this song before. But its sooooo good. And her illustrations are just, unbelievable.
Selena Gomez - Love You Like a Love Song - You people are probably like ew you totally just lost your reputation of being a totally awesome person because you like a chick that started at Disney. But you know what. Deal with it. It's a techno-y song.
Selena Gomez - Bang, Bang, Bang - Yes. Another. Deal with it. It's catchy. (Although I don't like her little "yeah's" at the beginning. That's a little sketchy.) I got more swagger than you. I got more swagger than you do.
Mikky Ekko - Who Are You, Really? - I love the beginning of this and the chorus. It's soooo good. It was on Teen Wolf. I love that show's music, or most of it. That's where I found My Body by Young the Giant too!
Rush Of Fools - Can't Get Away - Okay, ignore the whole slideshow dealio to this. It's so lame. But these guys sound so good and I just like this.
Coldplay - Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - Okay, beware. This song is highly addicting. Let's be real here. This BAND is highly addicting.
Regina Spektor - Fidelity - First off, her name is awesome. Secondly, her voice is awesome. This song is awesome. This one and her song "The Call" are my favorites. She's reallyyyy sincerely good.
Joe Jonas - See No More - Yes. I am a Jonas fan. Have been since their beginning. Haha. This song actually isn't that bad, it's really catchy and although you can almost hear the autotune in some parts, I still really like this song.

I'm in the middle of editing some beach pictures so I might even have another post for the day! I'm getting back on track guys, I'm getting back on track.
P.S. My cat is really cute.
